OBS Top Plugins and Scripts
The COVID-19 Pandemic pushed me to look at other software streaming encoders outside of WireCast. The one that rose to the top was OBS(Open Broadcasting Software) as it is free and big plus is the developer community that contributes plugins and scripts that allow you to enhance your ZOOM, YouTube and Social Media Productions. Plugins and scripts add additional functionality not included in the core application. During COVID-19 one such plugin OBS Virtual Camera eventual found itself into the core application and so too WebSockets in OBS 28. Here are my Top Plugins Plugin Move - Adds nice move transitions video and audio to your production NDI - Adds NewTeck NDI functionality to Audio Monitor - works great with or with VB-Cable. Downstream Keyer - Adds to ability to add downstream key. Great for use with lower thirds or other overlays Advanced Scene Switcher - Adds advance scene switching capability e.g. go a next scene when RSTP Server (BETA) Media Controls Transition Table
